Mellow My Migraine follows Adriane Dellorco’s unique holistic approach to reducing migraine symptoms called the 3-R Framework for Migraine Reduction:
The beginning of the series starts with the most subtle and passive forms of yoga and gradually progresses into more gentle physical movement.
"For years, doctors have requested I add exercise to my chronic migraine lifestyle. Chronic migraines prevented exercise as keeping my exertion level low enough to keep migraines at bay was next to impossible. Adriane has taught me how to incorporate exercise and keep the exertion low enough I can complete a full hour 3 times a week on a fairly routine basis. My doctors are happier, I feel better and, I believe, with continued practice I’ll be able to improve my migraine numbers! If you were on the fence about trying the series, don't hesitate. GO FOR IT!"
-Joan Dell, USA
"I have nothing but excellent things to say about Adriane and her Yoga for Migraine online classes. She is so kind and gentle and meets you where you are at and is keenly interested in making certain your needs and expectations are met. She takes the time to see how certain elements need to be modified to ensure that it works for you. Adriane is truly committed to nurturing everyone's body, mind and spirit through yoga. I'm blessed to be a part of this online community and take part in her yoga classes to benefit me in addressing my chronic migraines."

"I am loving Adriane's Yoga for Migraine classes. I have taken yoga classes in the past, however too many of the poses were pain triggers for me. The sun salutations in particular were such a source of dread that I was unable to benefit from the classes. I love taking the classes in the privacy of my own home where I can take my time getting comfortable and not feel judged. Because I am home, I feel free trying the different options Adriane offers for many of the poses without feeling like I am distracting others. Adriane has adapted traditional yoga to be user friendly for anyone suffering from migraines, as well as other physical challenges that make self-care a challenge."
-Kathi Gandara, USA
"I highly recommend Adriane’s classes. I feel more relaxed and my mental health has improved. I feel healthier and I love being with a group of others who understand my condition. I leave each practice feeling truly unwound, with my body loose and relaxed, and my mind calm and easy.”
-Fiona Jeffery, Australia
I have been living with migraine since 2007. Like many of you, I have tried just about everything under the sun to help manage it. I counted once, and it was over two dozen holistic and pharmaceutical treatments to manage my migraine symptoms.
During my adult life, I have been a public school teacher, dance teacher and mother of two little ones. The years when I played all three of those roles at the same time resulted in my most challenging chronic migraine period. 15+ migraine days a month, and depression as a result.
I was able to decrease the frequency of my migraine attacks back to episodic through lifestyle changes and my Yoga for Migraine practice. I'm down to less than four migraine attacks per month now, with my menstrual migraine still being my biggest trigger. What's more, my mental health has drastically improved and I feel emotionally and physically resilient.
I have practiced yoga for over twenty years, but the way I practiced changed drastically once I developed frequent migraines. Before migraine, I used to practice vigorous yoga in heated yoga studios. After migraine, hot vinyasa yoga was definitely a trigger and I had to find other styles.
Yoga for Migraine was born out of my own search for a yoga practice that was healing and not triggering for my migraine brain.
Yoga has been such a blessing in my life.
Yoga is one of the essential tools I use to manage the ups and downs of life with migraine.
May you also find healing and comfort from headache and migraine through yoga.

"I've been doing yoga for a few years, but I've never taken a class that felt so tuned in to what I need! I'm very appreciative of your work!"
- Angie Glaser, Senior Editor of Migraine Again, USA
"I have had the privilege to experience the rejuvenating effects of Adriane's classes: going into class with full-blown migraine symptoms and excessive fatigue, then finishing class re-energized and with a clear head."
- Ute Balsley, USA

Mellow My Migraine offers a weekly one hour live yoga practice for 6 weeks. You can join us just once a week or practice with the replays for even greather health benefits.
Yoga for Migraine is the only program that is created by a migraine warrior and specifically meets the unique needs and challenges of people living with migraine.
Our focus is on relaxation and releasing neck and upper body tension. We eliminate common migraine triggers like inversions, fast vinyasa and poses that create neck strain. We offer practices for low and high pain days that will support you no matter how you’re feeling.
There are options for low pain and high pain day practices. One of my favorite practices when I’m stuck in bed with a migraine attack is yoga nidra, which simply involves laying in bed and listening to a guided meditation. What makes this program so doable is that there are always yoga practices that you can do no matter how much pain you’re in. What’s more, doing those practices during a high pain day can soothe your pain and help you recover more quickly.
The program runs April 16 through May 21, 2021 for 6 weeks with live sessions every Friday plus 12 week access to all the class replays.
One hour yoga classes are held Fridays at 9:30am PT/ 12:30pm ET/ 4:30pm GT. All live classes are recorded and included for 12 weeks.
You have 12 weeks of access to all classes and replays in the series until July 10, 2021.
The Yoga for Migraine practices in this program are geared towards people who have been unable to exercise regularly due to migraine. Props and multiple options are always offered for each pose to make the practice comfortable and accessible to people of all fitness levels.
The ideal yoga set up for this program is:
Substitutes can be made with items around your house in a pinch, and I offer ideas in the course. Students have found that having the right props makes their practices so much more effective and comfortable.
Not at all! We always have a mix of yoga newbies and those who have practiced yoga for years. The yoga practices are very physically accessible and multiple options are offered for each pose.
Yes! There is recent research showing yoga to reduce migraine attacks by almost half. In addition, the mindfulness and lifestyle management approaches in this program are backed up by research to help reduce migraine attacks and their disability.
Migraine is such a personal disease that is often accompanied with other health conditions.
As much as I try to make my yoga classes accessible with multiple options for different levels of pain and fitness, it may not work for everyone.
If after the first two classes the series doesn't seem like a good fit, let me know. We can try to troubleshoot any challenges, and if that still doesn't work, you will be refunded 100% (Day passes are non-refundable).
